The Dutch Honours Community (DHC) is the national umbrella association for honours associations of universities and universities of applied sciences in The Netherlands. DHC serves the interests and represents the students who participate in a Dutch Honours programme. Ockham was closely involved with its foundation in 2017, and we and our members are still actively involved in shaping the DHC — signalled by the fact that all current Board members are Ockham members. DHC helps us fosters collaborations with other honours associations on a national level; for instance, by organizing conferences and by supporting our participation in the Batavierenrace with an all-honours team. Lastly, the DHC represents all honours students in Dutch national politics (ISO) and the Network of Honours Coordinators (WCN) meetings.
