Studium Generale: Lingen Excursion

Have you heard about the energy transition in Lingen, a German town in lower Saxony? ☢

While 2 nuclear power plants being shut down, in order to supply electricity to the town, a gas-power plant has been built. For the future a hydrogen-power plant is being constructed. To see how this energy transition is going, join the excursion organised by Studium Generale, in cooperation with Ockham and KIVI Students Twente!

On 21st of November, a former nuclear power plant operator, Bodo Schlünzen will explain what it takes to dismantle a nuclear-power plant, and will take you through the gas and hydrogen power plants in Lingen! If you are interested and want more information on the event, click on the link below ☺

Registrations are done by emailing a.heukels@utwente.nl. The costs are 30€ and 45€ for students and others respectively. Prices include lunch, transportation (by bus) and coffee/tea :)
